NOCLS 21st ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC

Sold out at 144 golfers in the Classic.
The winners of the Thursday evening activities:

Gong shot – Female: Sue Beaudry – Male: Norm Brenner
Putting – Female: Marlene Thorlakson – Male: Lyle Bie
Caddy Auction with auctioneer PAUL BURKE made $9,650. The highest group The Morning Star sold for $3,000, Adrian Dix NDP Leader sold for $2,600 and The Vernon Fire Department sold for $2,200 with a grand total of $13,800.

The KISS FM golf package was won by Gerhard Traxel
The Pink Ball package was won by Glenn Benischuk, Greg Sol, Heather Sido, Kara Leahy.

The Low Gross Team – shot a 61 – Dean Francks, Chuck Winn, Jason Kasper, Gary Gilchrest.
The Far West Winning team (low net)–at -10 was Jamie Skinner, Ryan Chambers, Les Butler, Ron Racine.
The major auction was conducted by Bob Woodman. The highest item was the Kal Jet golf package which sold for $18,000. The Pure Granite Rock certificate sold for $5,200 while the Fabulous Golf Holiday in Sunny Arizona for a week sold for $5,000. The major auction raised $51,275.
NOCLS would like to thank all the volunteers, caddies, those who donated, those who purchased, bought items, committee members, the media and all the golfers for making this year’s event the most successful event ever.
The Good Guy of the Year was Brian Johnston.
