NOCLS 22nd ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC

Sold out at 128 golfers in the Classic.
The winners of the Thursday evening activities:
Accuracy Female: Faye Bie – Male: Marvin Van Meter
Gong shot Female: Dianne Nohr – Male: Rod Dublan
Putting Female: Marlene Thorlakson – Male – Wes Pollingwood
Caddy Auction with auctioneer PAUL BURKE made $18,400. Danny Miller (former owner of Royal Volkswagen) found 15 sponsors up to $400 then Doug Thorlakson and Neil Bradbury (Dream Easy Kitchens) paid $2,000 each fonr a grand total of $10,000. Akal Munk sold for $2,500 while Patrick Nicol donated $2,000 to purchase himself. The Grand total of the Caddy Auction was $18,400.

The Pink Ball package was won by Bill Heggs, Anthony Parker, Mike McGrath and Ed McGrath.

The Low Gross Team – shot a 58 – BJ Johnston, Mike Otter, Brian Fair and Al Guadette
The Far West Winning team (low net) –at -12 under – Ken Chaun, Iain Butler, Pau Tambellini and Cameron Johnston.
The major auction was conducted by Bob Woodman. The highest item was the Kal Jet golf package which sold for $20,000. The Pure Granite Rock certificate sold for $3,700. The major auction raised $44,900.
NOCLS would like to thank all the volunteers, caddies, those who donated, those who purchased, bought items, committee members, the media and all the golfers for making this year’s event the most successful event ever.
The Good Guy of the Year was Gary Weatherill.
