Hi Everyone

RE:       NOCLS 8th Annual Art and Wine Gala

On behalf of NOCLS we would like to thank everyone who attended our 8th Annual Gala on Saturday February 27, 2016. With everyone’s efforts we raised a NEW RECORD of $68,455 (after the total announced at the end of the Gala we realized we did not include the $125 per guest to attend).

This is not possible with the hard work of our committee Pippa Forster (Shaw), Dawn and Andrew Fradley. The artists generosity allows us the opportunity to experience their expressions and talents in the comfort of our homes. Heidi Thompson’s beautiful painting called ‘Green Transparency 2006’ was the most sought after masterpiece while Barry Rafuse, Michelle Loughery, Andrea Thornburn, Mike Jell, and Gary Whitley were in much demand.

Kathy Ridley (Vernon Square Liquor Store), Tania Robinson (30th Street Liquor Store) and Colin Hamilton (Village Green Liquor Store) were able to provide wine for the meal and product for the baskets which were made by Jeanne and Kendra Molitwenik.

Our fundraising group saw Pippa Forster (owner of Designer’s Gallery) bring in $8,000, Ryan Molitwenik and Rod Dubland (owner’s of Heartwood Homes Ltd) $6,705 and Dean Bannard (Summit Financial) $6,000.

Betty Johnson and auctioneer Darcy Morrow did a terrific job entertaining.

Andrew and Dawn Fradley (owner’s of Eclectic Med Restaurant) provided a meal second to none.

We not only want to thank everyone for donating but to you for participating.
